Welcome to Rose Tree Crafts!

I’m Denise and I am the chief creator and stitcher here at Rose Tree Crafts. Married to Colin who is a marketing consultant and useful to have on tap to help me with my website.

We live in the West Midlands of the UK but spent 23 years in Southeast Asia where my love for crafts expanded with the abundance of fabric and craft supplies available. Being a qualified Bookkeeper by profession and having a City and Guilds in Creative Studies (Fashion) qualification it seemed the natural progression to combine the two and create my own online shop now I'm back in the UK.

The name ‘Rose Tree Crafts’ is a dedication to my parents who were avid gardeners. The beautiful colours and smell of the roses we had in our garden are memories that will always remain with me. Mum made most of my clothes as a child and taught me how to knit and crochet amongst other things. Dad always supported and encouraged me in everything I did and I’d like to think they would both be proud of what I have achieved so far. I’m not much of a gardener though – sorry Dad!
